1979 Big Railroad Hobby Show

Show Highlights

For the first time, the name of the show would be the "BIG Railroad Hobby Show." The gathering had grown quite a bit and, at the time, modular railroading was starting to become popular. The first modular layout - built by the Amherst Belt Lines - was displayed at the show.
