2007 Big Railroad Hobby Show

Show Highlights

This year's edition of the Railroad Hobby Show brought along a new name. Now officially titled "Amherst Railway Society Railroad Hobby Show," the crowds were out in force with over 21,000 visitors packing in the three buildings of the show

Inside the Young Building, the Mohegan Pequot Model Railroad Club added a number of new modules for the show as part of their layout renovation process. One of the highlights was a 12' module featuring Rockville Bridge which was built in the 90 days leading up to the show. (Seriously - check it out here). A few years later, a book ended up being written about the project called 90 Days to Rockville - available here on Amazon.

The 2008 Railroad Hobby Show will be held on January 24 and 25, 2008.
